Sri Ramakrishna Hospital of SNR Sons Charitable Trust has received accreditation from the Prestigious Quality Council of India, New Delhi for certification on National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) under NABH Standards for hospitals, 4th Edition. Speaking of this milestone reached, Mr. R Vijayakumhar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust said, “We have grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years and are now poised to take the quality of patient care to a different level. We are committed to create a culture of patient safety, efficiency and accountability towards patient care.” In our new 230 bedded green hospital that is coming up, we plan to get JCI standards and with the support of our team we are confident of achieving this recognition in a short period of time.
The NABH accreditation process covers all aspects of Hospital Management including fire safety, disaster handling, infection control practices, nursing protocols, equipment maintenance, patient feedback, credential checking of the staff and doctors, employee satisfaction and quality initiatives which ensures that the hospital quality is achieved and sustained. The NABH certificate has bolstered the hospital’s continuing efforts to implement exacting patient safety standards. Sri Ramakrishna Hospital has been enriching lives, not only through their quality treatment, but also through their various social welfare initiatives as well including the Guinness Record for “Most people to sign up as organ donors in eight hours”.

City-based Ramakrishna Hospital today celebrated World Premature Babies Day Presiding over the function, Dr. P. Sukumaran, Hospital Dean, said the neo-natal intensive care unit of the hospital that was launched 25 years ago could handle 40 children at a time. Dr. Siddhartha Butthavarappu, NICU chief said, Thanks to advancement of medical science, we can even save babies born within 24-25 weeks. Parents from Madurai, Tiruchi and Erode participated in the event and shared their experience. The event was organised to discuss various issues relating to premature babies, according to a press release from the hospital.

"Paediatric Cardiology Camp at Thudiyalur Primary Health Centre Hospital" Paediatric Cardiology Camp was held Thudiyalur Primary Health Centre Hospital.The Camp was attended by nearly 200 Children. Dr.Devaprasath,Paediatric Cardiologist Conducted Screening.

“ANUBHAV” An experience sharing session was organized by Entrepreneurial Development Cell of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women . Mrs. Devi Janardhanan, Managing Director, Auraa Natural Products, Secretary, WE, Coimbatore Chapter was the Chief Guest.

Introductory Remarks was delivered by Dr. D. Chandra Prabha, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry. The Presidential address was proffered by Dr.K.Chitra, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women. She insisted that women should be mentally strong and bold as Mahakavi Bharathiar said. She also emphasized that women entrepreneur face struggles and troubles but they need to achieve success in their life. The Chief Guest shared her valuable experiences right from her Business startup and the support rendered by her family for her success. She motivated the students to acquire entrepreneurial skills and apply it throughout their life achievements. The session concluded with the closing remarks proposed by Ms.B.Saranya, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration

Children's Day was celebrated in the paediatric ward of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore.The Dean Dr. Sukumaran, Paediatricians Dr. Jaleel Ahamed and Dr. Ganesan and the Chief nursing Officer were present. Dr. T. Nirmala, Principal, College of Nursing, Vice Principal and faculty of Paediatric Nursing Dept., along with the 3rd year B.Sc.Nursing students were also present. There was cake cutting followed by which the nursing students organized a short informative cum entertaining program for the hospitalized children.

The program comprised of two short skits where the children and parents were taught the importance of "Personal Hygiene" and "Hand washing techniques". The Principal of College of nursing gave a short speech to the children. The program came to an end with distribution of gifts to all the children.

SRI RAMAKRISHNA ENGINEERING COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING DRDO Sponsored Two Days National level workshop on Eccentric High Performance Computing (EHiPC2016) Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore Organizing a DRDO Sponsored Two Days National level workshop on Eccentric High Performance Computing (EHiPC2016). Dr.Debasis Chakraborty INAE Member,Defense Research and Development Laboratory (DRDO), Hyderabad inaugurated the event and delivered a technical lecture during the event. A total number of 35 participants from premier institutes participated in the Workshop. The participants had been given basic training in the High-performance computing (HPC) which is the use of parallel processing for running advanced application programs efficiently, reliably and quickly. Dr.N.R.Alamelu, Principal presides over the function. Dr.A.Grace Selvarani, Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcoming the gathering and introduced the chief guest.
